Hunter-gatherers vs early farmers

Compare skeletons: Hunter-gatherers vs early farmers. Height: Farmers are 6 inches shorter on average. Bone density: Significantly reduced in farmers. Dental health: Farmers have rampant cavities. Hunter-gatherers have perfect teeth. Nutritional stress markers: Visible in farmer bones. Absent in hunter-gatherers. This happened within 2-3 generations of adopting agriculture. The same populations. Different diets. Catastrophic health decline. We traded meat for grains. Became shorter, weaker, sicker. This is in the archaeological record. Published. Peer-reviewed. Agriculture enabled population growth. But individuals suffered. Quality for quantity. The skeletons show exactly what happened when humans stopped eating primarily meat. We broke.
